I first fell in love with the E-type when i was 12 or 13. I used to walk into the British Leland Dealer ship near Young and Davenport. I would admire the sleek OTS they always had on the show room floor. Since that time, driving a E-type has alwas been my goal.

I too fell in love with the E-type when it was first introduced . I was living in London Ontario and vowed thta one day I would own one. It took me 41 years before I was able to purchase our '68 roadster 1E17727, and it is everything and more than I expected it to be . It is a VERY special car and I never plan to part with it . We also have a '06 Porsche Cayman S and although it is an amazing car ,my favourite will always be the E-type .
Good luck with your restoration , will be following the progress. You are probably aware of Jag Lovers Forum but if not check it out . It is an extremely valuable resource!!
I would love to see the link for that site. I have not completely emmersed myself in the Jag culture.....coming from Italian and German car clubs.
So far i am finding the E-type very easy to work on, everything makes sense.
