Preping engine frame rails and firewall
early March
The damp cold weather has meant i have had to stop working on the Bonnet. Most of the dents have been removed as well as most of the leading. The last bit of leading needs to be done with the bonnet tipped on its side which i need to do outside of the garage with no precipitation.
I have now started to strip the firewall and all of the aluminum stonegaurd panels which are mounted on the chassis side member frame. These light weight panels shield the engine bay from road dirt.

Over the last few days i have concentrated on striping the firewall of engine bay componets and the last removable engine eomponts to aid in the clean up process including the intake manifold and the stater motor which will be bench tested and rebuilt if necessary.
